These private and informative workshops are 4 to 5 hours long and are for anyone who is considering growing flowers for themselves or to sell at markets, for weddings and events or flower deliveries.
Each private flower farm in-depth planning session is custom tailored to individual and interests. Chose a topic ranging from: flower farm setup and planning • to choosing flowers to grow and how to grow flowers from seed • how to harvest flowers and get them ready for markets • how to brand yourself, photograph your flowers, and set up websites, social media.
We'll begin our private session with a private farm tour of the gardens at Alchemy Farm, that includes growing and harvesting tips. You will have the opportunity to ask lots of questions during the tour and throughout our time together.
All supplies, including a journal, refreshments and snacks are included.
Once you purchase your session you will be contacted to book your time and date.

I had the most beautiful day with Ingrid yesterday. I was gifted a one on one workshop with her on beautiful Alchemy Farm. Ingrid gave me a warm welcome and then a tour of her beautiful flower farm while cutting flowers for a fresh bouquet. She generously shared her knowledge of all the flowers with me and then showed me how she designs her signature bouquets with the flowers we had just cut. I then had an opportunity to go out and cut my own flowers for my own bouquet to take home. What a treasure that was! I wanted one of everything in bloom! Her Dahlias are magnificent to say the least and there are hundreds of them! We then enjoyed some snacks and wonderful conversation together. She then had me make my own bouquet with the flowers I had cut assisting me along the way with her technique and expertise. I cant stop smelling and gazing at the gorgeous flowers I came home with! I would recommend Ingrid and any of her workshops or private one on ones for anyone in love with flowers as it is surely something you will never regret or forget!

I was fortunate enough to attend one of Alchemy Farm's Mason Jar Posie workshops. It was such a treat to spend the morning with Ingrid! This workshop offered so much... There was a phenomenal garden tour, then freedom to wander and harvest our own flowers to work with in her barn studio space. To top it off there was a splendid cup of tea and tasty cookies. I look forward to attending more workshops!

Thank you Ingrid for the lovely Alchemy Farm's Mason Jar Posie workshop. This was truly a beautiful experience. This is not only a flower bouquet making workshop, I learnt so much about flowers, plants from details about the species to the care needed, etc. The fragrance of the flowers is mind blowing (I’m a city girl), I felt like an alian arriving on earth and smelling a flower for the first time, I've never smelled such fragrance in any florists or places before. The tour of the flower farm and tea and biscuits in the workshop was just so charming. What I particularly enjoyed is the level of passion and knowledge from Ingrid but also her love and respect for the environment. Her energy is clearly guenuine which makes the experience even more special. I would highly recommend booking the workshop, you get to leave with amazing flowers and feeling happy.
